Bob Crangle

Bob Crangle graduated from Kansas State University in Nuclear Engineering and
his law degree from Harvard Law School. Originally admitted to practice law in
Illinois and Massachusetts, he is now a licensed Kansas attorney. He is a past
officer and president of the Kansas Bar Association Business Law Section, and
has served as the Lincoln County (KS) Attorney.

Bob once was on the business school faculty at the Illinois Institute of Technology
in Chicago, where he taught information systems and was a research center
director. He created and taught IIT's first graduate and undergraduate courses
in entrepreneurship. He helped convert a raw idea into a patent-based company
with an initial public offering and a seat on NASDAQ. Simply put, Bob is a
lawyer who understands business.

A degreed engineer, he has practical knowledge of the issues that arise when
law, technology, government, economics and science intersect. He received the
Meritorious Public Service Award from the U. S. National Science Foundation
and is an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of
Science; he may be the only attorney so honored. Since early in his career he has
taught many courses in federal acquisition management, and is familiar with
contracts, cooperative agreements and grants.
